The NBA's 2009-10 regular-season schedule, spanning 1,230 games that begin in late October and stretch until mid-April, will be released Tuesday afternoon, the league announced on Monday. The entire regular-season schedule, including those games earmarked to be nationally televised, will be available on NBA.com shortly after the announcement.
Individual team schedules can be found on NBA.com and on the various team sites.
ESPN will again broadcast a schedule of mostly Wednesday and Friday games throughout the season. TNT, coming off its best ratings season since 1995-96, will air its regular Thursday doubleheaders, anchored by Inside the NBA, the award-winning studio show featuring Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley. NBA TV will again air Fan Night games every Tuesday.
ABC TV, which broadcast the NBA Finals in June between the L.A. Lakers and Orlando Magic, is expected to begin its regular-season coverage with a traditional Christmas Day doubleheader.
The 2010 NBA All-Star Game is scheduled to be played on Feb. 14 in the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. More than 80,000 people are expected to attend.
