I wonder if "league source" = NES247.

;)

Unfortunately it probably is.  I wouldn't put it past Tanguay.

Who wins in the octogon?  Tanguay v. Dickerson.

Discuss.

well however

rondo marbury   hudson
ray   house     giddens
pp    daniels    xxx
kg    sheed      xxx
perk  xxxx       swift

is 1.5 times better than last years team
with BBD u make it twice better
who will be the garbage 3 is the BIG
question because i think we are keeping
                 hudson and maybe giddens

Don't forget Bill Walker.  Only 2 spots to fill then.

walker, gabe and tony are getting shipped out somewhere..i think if they resign baby he backs up KG and sheed backs up Perk. i want to see who is the third big off the bench..andi hope it isnt swift the stiff

I was imagining their fifth big to be Scal which I would be fine with.  Or is he being sent off in the supposed sign and trade with Indiana?

I'm pretty sure Dickerson wins that one.  He's taller and seemingly hopped up on cocaine, giving him greater energy and no feeling below his eyebrows, making him almost invincible to pain.

Tanguay is too tame.

According to a league source, a possibility remains that Stephon Marbury could be back in a Celtic’s uniform. Marbury, who joined the Celtics as a back up point guard for a quarter of the season last year, originally turned down the veteran minimum ($1.3 million). Reportedly, his only other option is Europe. It seems that Steph might have second thoughts and feel that playing for the Celtics for the minimum is better than going across the pond.

First of all this isn't from his twitter... and nowhere does it say that he thinks Steph is coming back... Ne ways I sure hope Steph does come back if we can't get TJ Ford (only if it didn't mean we were trading Rondo)... I think we will have the best bench in the league if we get Steph and BBD back.

I'm not going to post actual messages, but from what I have heard from Marbury himself(I'm not talking about just twitter replies), he has no idea where he is going.

So anything you are hearing from people is pure speculation.

Is there a possibility that he will be back? Of course. But it doesn't appear that there has been any talk between the two sides on making it happen.

It also seems that Marbury might have "declined" the original offer because the Celtics wanted a quick signing if he was on board, but Marbury was not ready to make a decision that quickly, so he declined.

Do you have some inside info?  Do tell...

http://nes247.com/

there's a new post up about marbury, doesn't say a ton more.
Dickerson: On a scale of 1-10 where do you rank May 22nd in terms of importance to this franchise?

Ainge: You talk really loud, you know that?

i'd love to see marbury back. he shot poorly. did'nt he do everything else well? dummies like bob ryan said it did'nt work out and c's should and would move on.REALLY? what was i watching? we're talking a backup point guard. a BACKUP! i'm preaching to the choir here i think, though.
