Brian Scalabrine for a bag of Funyons. Man I love those little onion rings.
“They played well when they had to. Paul Pierce is the best in the business when it comes to hitting fourth-quarter shots.”

Can each of you post your resume's and life's accomplishments on here so we can compare what you have both done vs. what Scal has accomplished in his life?!

Here is a few of his accomplishments:

NBA Championship

Convinced some pretty smart basketball gurus to sign him to upwards of 20 million dollars in salary in his career at only age 31

Averaged 16 points and 6 boards a game at USC

Graduated from USC unlike many pro athletes

I think before you rip a guy too bad you ought to ask yourself why you are doing it? The guy has been nothing but a great team player his entire stint here and also in NJ. He has some pretty big basketball minds since college saying some pretty great things about him. If a fan can't look at a guy like Scal and be happy for the guy then somethings wrong. Show me how your life's resume stacks up against this guy and then lets talk...

after this year's playoffs i think criticizing scal is out. he came back from serious injury, played hard and played well. He gave everything he had, even though a championship was probably unrealistic. He won me over, and I think he'd be valuable reserve that i hope is on our roster next season.

Don't throw your commentary in my post where someone might think that I said that. I know you were joking, but to add a sarcastic comment in my list of attributes this guy had is just as bad as the original posters nonsense. Please go in and delete it. Add it as a reply if you feel you need to lump yourself in with the two from the beginning, but don't mess with my words...

You left one out...

He's had more bags of funyons than any of us.

But I have a couple of questions about this trade...

1. Did it work on the Real GM trade checker?
2. What does the funyons' contract look like?  Because if there is a no munching clause, I think I'll pass.
3. Are we sure we are getting equal value in return?  Is it at all possible that we could mooch multiple bags of funyons of Scal in promise that he remains the only white ginger headed dude on the team?
