UFA who is 6'9" and can shoot the three ball. Another of the Nelson finds that actually has a nice game.

He probably comes pretty cheap and could do a couple of things that Doc might find appealing: give some minutes for Paul and knock down open jumpers.

Defense probably not trememdous, not really sure, but i know he has a nice shot and he has the size at least bother taller SFs.

At this point though (remembering that we pay the luxury tax), how much is Kurz better than Bill Walkers or JR's upside?

well his skill set is different as are his dimensions, so I'm not sure that comparing him to Walker and JR directly is how we should look at it.

might be more appropriate to ask that in relation to Scals, but I think he is more athletic than Scals and has a better handle....all in all more natural at the SF than Scals IMO.

We're talking about a minute soaker though. 20-25 minutes behind PP and at times Ray. Skill sets may be different, but it's about whose the overall better player for those 20-25 minutes.

(Scals also proven that he's a better defender at PF anyway)
