Scal, Tony, future second
for
Dooling, Najera
Scal, Pruitt, Walker, Giddens, 2nd rounder
for
Dooling, Najera
For NJ, they're clearly shedding long term money and building assets. With either deal they'd save .5-1 million this year and about 13 million in long deals while picking up an extra pick and possibly a wing prospect or two. Additionally, Najera doesn't play much, and they have Allston and Harris at the point.
For Boston, it would be about adding Dooling, a guy that can come in off the bench and defend the 1 or 2.
