If he gets bought out, wouldn't he go right back to San Antonio?

The team that first gave him a chance was the Celtics. I think him and PP are still pretty close.

Meh, he was a Celtic ten years ago.

I know you don't look for points from Bowen, but you realize he had ONE game with double-digit points last year?  FOUR games when he scored more than six points all season, including playoffs.

Looks done to me.

The past 2 seasons were bad relationship years between Bowen and Pop. I dont see him going back to San Ant.

BUT I think he'd be a great wing. We can't stop Pierce from playing 35-40 minutes. Him and KG like to be out there in crunch time just as much as they like to be out there in 20 point blowouts. To have a great defender and 3 point shooter to play 10-15 minutes a game would be great. Bring Wally too - poor defender or not, he can get hot and hit a few 3's for us
Can't stop, Rondo!

House Wally Bowen Baby Sheed

Our bench could be a lot worse than that, I guess.  Wally and Bowen would probably be minimum contract guys, too.

Older players or players with holes in their game can become very valuable on a team that only needs them to do little things.

Bowen- Be tough, hound your man, play shut down D, hit the open shot, be a good veteran defender for our young 2/3's to take after.

Wally- Hit the 3's, Hustle on the defensive end, make the smart play.
