I think a front court of Perk/KG and Big Al could absolutely work. First of all, KG is KG - so there is no argument there. Second of all all three guys have injury concerns so there is a perfectly good reason to limit minutes all around. Finally Big Al and Perk are boys and Big Al already got his extension: contracts are not on the line. Big Al off the bench would make the most sense since with KG, Pierce, Miller and the PG, the starting unit would have a lot of touches to use up. Big Al comes off the bench can be used opportunistically on D, and destroy on offense.

In terms of who else is on the team, I don't think you can get McD if you have Big Al - yes he wants a championship, but is he willing to be a half year rotation player and then be the number four guy? If you could that would be great. More likely is you'd get a big body center type to insure against a Perk injury.

I think Hill can be had, but its no certainty. He and House would be great bench players to put out there with Jefferson. The #6 could also be packaged with Scal, Tony, and JR for a backcourt player as a subsequent move.

Without making any moves the team would be (assuming all options are picked up.)

Perk / Big Al
KG / Scal
Pierce / Walker
Miller /Tony Allen / Giddens
House / Pruitt

Plus the #6 and our second rounder. You'd still have a lot of options to improve the team. The two picks, MLE, LLE, the vet min guys out there who'd play for the C's (maybe Hill, maybe Starbury for a starting job), plus trading any or all of the Scal, TA, Giddens, Pruitt, Walker, and even House group.

But its all fantasy - no way Minny is targetting BBD, when they already have Gomes and Smith and even Love. They'd have to move at least one, and probably two, of those guys to do this deal.

This doesn't make sense.

1)Big AL is recovering from a torn ACL
2)Mike Miller looked washed up last season.
3)Big AL is not a center.
4)Besides "Evans", We are old and slow
5)Chemistry is lost & become discombobulated

The plus would our bench is 10X better than last years bench, but our starters take a step or two back

I like that alot... I would love to draft Johny Flynn though... imagine that floor spacing with Al having all that room to work?
