my off-season priorities would be (in order)
extend rondo - to some this is a no-brainer, but there is a whiff of off the court issues
sign big baby - he's big, can soak up fouls on any center in the league, and can score in bunches. he used to pass the ball well too, but you could see him playing for his contract in the playoffs, i.e. taking difficult shots himself instead of passing up the ball
extend ray allen - if he'll take a discount, we should sign him. he's in great shape (arguably the best shape of the big three) and he's one of the greatest shooters of all time. but he should not be paid as a franchise player anymore
backup small forward - Pierce cannot play the minutes he played this season and last in the playoffs. I don't know who can fill this spot... Matt Barnes?
more bigs - Even if Powe's surgery was a success, it's going to take him a season to get back to where he was. We don't have that long to wait. Rasheed Wallace, Zaza Pachulia?
point guard - Pruitt is still under contract but I don't think anybody trusts him with this team.
I do not envy DA's job, especially coming off of heart surgery!
