Will you be satisfied with the season if we lose game 7?

Orlando plays better defense than anyone is giving them credit for.  They've done a great job taking away the wing jumpers for Ray, Pierce and at times Eddie.

In last night's game, how many times were we stuck with Rondo or Perk shooting?  That's because Orlando was doing a good job bottling up our shooters -- and also the presence of Howard, while not totally shutting down taking it to the basket -- at least makes everyone think twice, so it ends up disrupting their offensive flow.

Personally I think Orlando is a flawed team offensively.  They rely mainly on the 3 and I don't think you can win that way in the long run.  But defensively they're getting the job done and causing the Celtics problems running their offense.  I think they have a 50/50 chance of winning Sunday.

I am always dissatisfied when we lose.  especially so, in a playoff situation. while i agree we are better than Orlando and even Cleveland i must admit we are not as fresh at this stage in the season. Satisfied no. but cast no blame.

Their strategy is pretty simple..take away PP and Ray's game and they will take what remaining offense offers them, hence Ray is playing like the Cavs series last yr and PP is being double teamed and forced to give up to Rondo. Pressure now is on the kid on what to do with the rock, he either creates for himself which Orlando is willing to take, or make a play, difficult when Howard is manning the middle.

Personally, there where moments in the game when Howard was sitting and that should be the time when PP and Rondo should be pounding the ball inside, but there where a lot of times they still settled for the jumper.

If we lose game 7, Id be dejected ofcourse, there will be a lot of soulsearching as far as DA and Wyc is concern...And I would certainly put pressure on doc to develop Walker and Giddens so we don't have to see PP cripple himself in the regular season.

On one hand, I am satisfied with how hard these guys have overcome the trials and tribulations of this season.

But on the other hand, seeing as though we've given away multiple playoff games to both the Bulls and the Magic, I would be pretty dissatisfied if we didn't advance to the ECF and actually got beat by a better team.

I will be very far from satisfied if we lose game 7 in Boston to a team we had 2 chances to close out, on 2 days of rest, and on my graduation day. I will be very far from satisfied indeed. One could even say I would be unsatisfied.

Considering this is the Boston Celtics we're talking about, being satisfied with anything but a championship just doesn't happen.  Success is measured in championship banners.  Anything else is a failure.  I don't know how anyone can say they're satisfied with a season that ends in a loss.

Sort of.  I feel four ways.

First, I look at the immediate future and see that this C's team is capable of beating the Magic.  Thus, to lose to them would be a disappointment. 

Second, I look at Cleveland next round and see that there's really no way we're beating them four games without a healthy KG.  Thus, to lose game 7 might not be a horrible disappointment. 

Which brings me to my third feeling, which is that I'm curious to see if KG does come back if we advance that far.  If it turns out that he might've been able to come back, I would be very disappointed with a Game 7 loss tomorrow. 

Of course this all comes back to my fourth feeling: I'm disappointed the C's lost KG, but I'm happy with how they've been resilient without him.
