P.S. and can't stand Rips antics and little tricks.

Does the fact that Ray wears a green + white jersey make you blind to the fact that he does the exact same thing?

actually, it does make me blind...but i was not aware that ray resorted to such a tactic. i have not seen it and would appreciate your showing me this. thanks.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Yes Reggie was very clutch, a good player, and had the good fortune of being on a very good Pacers team throughout his career but in terms of pure overall ability I thought our own Reggie Lewis was better than Miller early in their careers before Lewis's life tragically ended.  Now Ray Allen I think is much better than Miller in a landslide if you take into account all of their skills.

If Reggie Miller had jumped around from say the Bucks and then the Sonics like Ray did I don't think the national media would think of him as highly.  Maybe just a good player with a couple great skills 3 pt shooting and running off of screens.

Reggie got more hype, which led a lot of people to think he was better.  Reggie was an amazing shooter, and he was clutch, but Ray is both of those things and brings more to the table in terms of defense, all-around scoring, etc.

I loved watching Reggie play.  I was a big Pacers fan in the mid 90's.

Ray Allen is clearly better looking than Reggie Miller. No contest.

A better comparison would be Reggie Miller vs. Sam Cassell.

Lewis was certainly better than Miller and looked on his way to a better career. Lewis was an all around player, points, rebounds, steals and defense.

I know i'm not alone in this thought, but if Len Bias AND Reggie didn't pass on I think we would have had a powerhouse of a team in the 90's.

I never thought Reggie Miller was better then Allen. I don't think people think this at all. Ray Allen is perhaps the most "natural" baller I have ever seen. Everything he does is so smooth and effortless out there on the court. PP might be better in some respects but Ray Allen makes the game look EASY.

Reggie Miller was a pretty clutch shooter but he never made basketball look easy. He had to really work to get open and couldn't really make anyone look bad on his own.

I agree Ray is a better player. And as Reggie reminds us ad nausem every Thursday Ray is going to break his 3 point record anyway.

****, you called it.  Reggie Miller interjected that into a conversation just now.

Hahaha. Even when the Celtics are not playing he can't help himself
