Can we replace Lucky with Gino? He could find all the hot girls in the stands and get them to dance.....

Gino's dead.

Here here, even though I am a younger fan I remember that.  And how preferable it was to the entertainment now.

I would rather see the court bare and empty during half time than see lil' funk dancing.

To be honest, I really don't notice Coach Willie Maye all that much during his interviews. I mean, I see him conducting them, but I really couldn't tell you anything he's said during them.  I do find it humorous that he seems to know about 80% of the building (Which is an interesting sub plot to the games: does he actually know these people? Or is he just easily excitable when he's meeting random people?)

If anything he amuses me, as opposed to Lucky who was more 'front and center' and 'annoying.'

BTW: True or not, I think the chances of me using either "Lucky doesn't take cabs" and/or "It's your game!" every weekend for the next three years is at about 99.9%

Way to let him down easy Nerf  ;)
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
I hope lucky ends up all right but I didn't have much interest in seeing him at Celtics games. I always got the feeling that when he came onto the court he was under the impression that people were there to see him.
I normally like the entertaining things they do in between quarters (celtics girls, little kids basketball game, lil funk, slow motion dancing), but he never appealed to me. While we're at it let's get rid of "peanut butter jelly time".
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

"Lucky! How many times I got to tell you...keep yo stuff out my locker. Look at this. Only a rookie would where something like this."

"This? This is sweet, Lucky.  Just my size."

"Hmph.  Lucky, what's that cologne you're wearing?"
