who do we vote in for most likely to not understand online sarcasm?

What's that supposed to mean?  You taking a shot at me or something?  I am a bit uncomfortable with what you're inferring here!

MODERATOR, may I have a ruling here?

lol to you and KW for the perfect responses to that one - I just feel like people often respond in anger to posts I make sarcastically, I feel if the medium of the internet is lacking one thing, its the ability to appropriately express sarcasm - though I guess using the rolly eyes emoticon could help....

The inability to show facial expressions or use inflections with the delivery makes the sarcasm a little tougher to decipher sometimes.  Plus, it just goes over people's heads sometimes.

You know, the guy on the right in this photo looks a bit like Doug Flutie. But who's the guy on the left?

Huh?

Oh it's a woman! Ummmm, sorry!

The dude looks nothing like Doug Flutie.
Sure he does. Put some shoulder pads and a BC football jersey on him, make him wear a Boston College football helmet and carry around a Heisman Trophy and he would look just like him.

I think he looks like one of the Affleck brothers, the one that was in all the Ocean movies

Anyone wana guess what his 1000th post will be? I'm tipping a dedication thread to his girlfriend haha

On that note: can I nominate myself for most likely to contribute to a thread that's dead? lol

Which raises the question... who is the #1 thread killer?  I don't think I could win it but I'll put myself in for an honorable mention.  Every thread I hop into seems to dissapear in a day.

While I'm no expert on CB thread killers, I will nominate you, Schupac, for the runaway victor of the "Best quotation in one's sig" award.  Any references to The Big Lebowski - probably my all-time favorite movie - score plenty of points with me, and as you've made me realize in past discussions, the fact that you could find a forums-appropriate phrase from that particular flick is especially amazing.  Well done.

Wooo I feel the love!

I just got home from work after not having power for about a day and a half, and I've decided what to do with my scant few hours before sleep is forced on me:

Begin, and fall asleep watching, The Big Lebowski.
