My visit today with the skin doctor got me thinking about this.
I went for my annual skin check. (I got the good Irish pale skin that burn like chicken with a ton of moles)
Anyways, there were two moles he want to biopsy. Not the first time this has happened (two abnormal in the past). So, I am an old pro at this.
One big difference, my 2 year old daughter is in the room. So, the doctor, without telling me, decides that having me sit up for this will help keep my daughter cool.
So, I get the two areas swabbed. I get the numbing shot (one in the back, one in the stomach, which was really uncomfortable). He whips out the razor blade, and shaves the moles off into a little tube.
So all done. Everything good. Why is it getting so hot in here? Why is the left side of my head starting to throb? 'Yeah doc, I'm fine.' Why am I getting dizzy? 'Uh doc, i seem to be getting a little bit of a headache.'
That was it. He lays me down, and puts a cold paper towel on my head. Took about 5 minutes for me to recover. Another 10 minutes for them to let me go. During which time I was told this is not unexpected and he would have normally laid me down to do the procedure to avoid this.
So, the question is, was this weak or what?
Anyone else have a good woozy moment? (and please stay away from illegal activities and drinking adventures)
