Some people say how players can make an impact on a game without scoring points.......i present to you exhibit a and b. these guys are lookin great today

Absolutely, and I would add exhibit c, Kendrick Perkins.  He was an absolute man today.

As much as I love Ray Allen, this team NEEDS to have both Perkins and Posey on the floor during crunch time against the Cavs.  With Posey on Lebron, and Perkins and Garnett both closing out on the pick and rolls and protecting the basket, it is by far our best chance to prevent Lebron from attacking the rim.

Powe was great today, but the defense by Perkins and Posey was extraordinary.
You'd like to see Ray Allen sitting at the end of the game for Posey and Perkins?

Celtics would lose a lot of offense in that. It's unlikely Posey would challenge Wally off the dribble or off of off the ball screens. Could cure some pecking order problems late in the game though. Lose a lot offense. Could open the door wider for Bron, easier to outscore two than three especially when the third man will have the best matchup.

I agree.  Ray needs to be involved down the stretch.

But I think a little offense and defensive switches with Ray and Posey might no be a bad idea.

They are going to have to find a balance.  Some times they will need Allen, but some times, the defense will be more important.  And remember, Posey has hit some big time clutch 3's already during this post season.

I think the most important is Perk though.  Having both he and Garnett in there makes such a huge difference for this teams defense.  They both are so versatile, and help out the perimeter guys so much, without losing position.
