When shams is saying that the Celtics are listening to offers for JB, I believe him.
I see this as non-reporting reporting. Of course Boston is "listening". Every single team in every single sport listens to trade offers on every one of its players. Then, the team being propositioned usually politely declines.
If you hear that Brad is *engaging* with other teams in trade discussions, exchanging counter-offers, etc., it's meaningful.
