Edwards said he wasn't interested in a playing style that required him to pass out of double teams:

"That's a good brand of basketball, but it's not how I want to play, of course. I'm only 23, I don't want to just be passing the ball all night. ... But the way that they're guarding me, I think I have to."

Edwards also said it was "super hard" to stay engaged while being double-teamed and that he isn't sure what to do:

"Them doubling me, definitely it's like, 'Bro, what is going on?' I'm trying to figure it out ... I don't know what to do honestly, but it's not fun. I don't want to look like I'm not trying or not as good as I am, because I am, but I can't show it because I'm getting double-teamed.

"It's definitely frustrating to see these guys cooking us and I can't cook them."

Can you imagine Tatum saying that and the aftermath with the local media?

Kobe-mentality

Melo was telling a story on his youtube channel about Kobe giving out to Melo for apologising for how much he was shooting the ball. For not passing. Or whatever. For not following Phil Jackson's game plan. Kobe was telling Melo to say screw Phil. You are a scorer. Play the way you play. Don't adapt. Never apologise for shooting the ball. That is your job. You are the #1 option. The 30ppg scorer. Shoot, shoot and keep shooting.

Cool. Now every team in the league knows exactly how to defend him.

We?ll see if Ant can adapt. He?s still only 23

But if the national media is really pushing this guy as the next face of the league and the ?next Michael Jordan?, then good luck lol. He?s an awesome player with a killer instinct but still has a very long ways to go to get to that level. Idk if he will.

You see Tatum yesterday. Doubled for a handful of possessions and he was still a maestro out there playmaking, and still had 33 points.

Edwards should watch footage of the Wolves game against the Thunder from a few days ago. Minny was trying to double SGA and he torched them, finishing with 40 points in 34mins. Does Ant think he?s the only player being doubled?

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

It feels like the Hawks shoot 90% on floaters.
