Next up si Dallas at home. AD would probably be ready to play by then. I hope we win convincingly just to show Nico Harrison how dumb he is!

Everyone will focus on AD, meanwhile Caleb Martin will suit up and go 8-11 from 3  :P

so does it matter if we are able to regain the #1 seed or not?   Seems like we play better on the road a lot.

Best road record in the NBA, beating CLE in their house, only 4 wins behind in the win column.

We've had some serious warts this year, but it's nice to be reminded that there's nobody clearly better than us, just more contenders.

Really nice win.

Celts should never have allowed the lead to drop into single-digits like they did.
I place the blame on Tatum's chronic horrid shot selection that occurs within Joe's one-dimensional, stagnant offense.

Great effort.  Fought off a bunch runs.  Overcame missing a bunch of very makable shots.  Consistent effort.  KP looks to be at full speed.  It?s funny. he was almost at too full of a speed tonight.  Missing a lot of close shots.  But it?s to see him so active.
Yup

Our defense was excellent in the first half.

KP looks physically like I hope he?ll look in May.   KP has played in the last 7 games and 15 of the last 17.  Unfortunately history tells us this won?t last.

Just finished rewatching the game. I?m pretty convinced that Donovan Mitchell extended his forearm slightly when he dunked on KP. I?m fine with that. What irks me is JB did the exact same thing but he was called for an offensive foul. They have to call it both ways.

I?m ok that the lead dropped v. a highly talented team like the Cavs in which they shot horrendously to start the game. Shots fall and they make up ground.

That said, I am with you 100% on the misguided offensive priority of this team.

I know.  I hate even mentioning it!  I don?t remember him being this mobile on defense at any point last year.  Besides the blocks and boards, he?s been poking passes away too.  And not just reaching for them.  Anticipating and starting breaks.
Yup

These Celtics are amazing on the road.

Yeah I'm not complaining but it's very weird lol. Like... if we play a Game 7 are we better off in a hostile road environment or TD Garden?  :P

Road. This years team is way more likely to choke at home then lose on the road in a big game.

This year complacency has certainly set in, but I expect they will lock-in by the time the playoffs roll around. TD will once again be a nightmare for opposing teams to visit.

Good start to a tough week. Dallas with AD tomorrow. At the Knicks who don't play again until the Cs come in Saturday and at Miami.
