All kidding aside, the final score of this game doesn't matter.  It is about getting a read on where individual players are at and how they are developing.

Springer was our best player, and he should be.  He is still rough around the edges.  Still only 21 though, same as Davison.  Davison is going to need to make a leap here pretty soon if he wants to stay in the league.  He is close, but not quite there.

I thought that both Scheierman and Watson looked pretty good.  Better than Walsh.  Of course they are both 23 and Walsh is still only 20 so no reason to give up on Walsh just yet.  I see it as unlikely that any of these 3 do much for the team this season.

I would have liked to see more out of Queta.  He should be able to stand out like Springer, but he didn't.  I understand it is tougher on bigs in the summer league.  More just run and gun.

Peterson was disappointing to me.  Seems he wants to be a wing, not a big.  I don't see the makings of an NBA player in him.

As to all the rest, nothing stood out.

Queta had 20pts, 9rbs , 2asts, 1 stl 1 blk and 0 TOs. The only play I was really disappointed with was Tillie. He looked lost.... He's 26 years old...

I missed the 4th quarter so maybe that is when he did much of his damage.  It is not just about stats for me, it is how the player looks.  For a big, the one thing I look at is what speed of the game are they playing at.  If a player is going to make any kind of impact in an actual NBA game, they need to look like they are moving faster, reacting faster, seeing the game faster than the summer league guys.  I didn't see that in Queta.  He looked pretty good to me, good enough I guess, but I was hoping he would stand out more.

Walsh's G-League numbers last season are a much better indication of where he's at vs one summer league game. And his numbers with Maine were pretty decent. Was supposed to be a below average 3 pt shooter in college but hit over 36% with Maine, averaged about 15 ppg and just under 7 Rebs.

I think he's got a lot of promise. Let's see how he bounces back from G1.

Maybe it was just 1 choppy game and he will bounce back.  I was hoping and maybe even expecting to see more development.  He didn't show it, at least in this first game.  I haven't given up on him, he is only 20.  That is young even for the summer league these days.

Q man doesn?t stand out so much with these guys. But?. He buys in , does his role , causes no problems and has decent hands for a big  He clogs the paint gives our skill players an additional target as their plays unfold . He looks better with Boston top eight players .  He also seems pretty durable and will mix it up to get boards.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
