no to all 4.  any trades should be geared towards ADDING TO Jaylen and Jayson, not replacing one of them.

IF Brown were truly on the table, it would have to be a part of a package for a player that would be clearly better than Tatum such that the C's could be contenders for several years with just Tatum and that player otherwise, trading Jaylen is at best a lateral move and more than likely a step backwards.

I'd put Jokic, Doncic, Durant and Giannis at that level.  If Embiid and AD could stay healthy, I'd include them as well.  I'm on the fence abut Harden.  I don't see Beal, KAT or Kawhi in that group much less Lillard and Simmons is a train wreck right now.
TP. I agree.

Four guys you trade Brown for are those four: Doncic, Giannis, Jokic and Durant. One other: Lebron
only reason I didn't include Lebron is his age and his apparent need to coast during the regular season.  while he's still a top player, I don't see him having that status for much longer
I'm getting old. I want to see more Celtic titles. If Lebron teaming with Tatum gets me a championship or two over the next 3-4 years, I would sacrifice my favorite Celtic in a very, very long time, JB.
I'm getting old as well and want to see titles too.  This isn't a decision I'd make due to my intense disgust with what Lebron did to get to Miami and LA but one based on purely a basketball perspective.  At this stage, I don't think just substituting Lebron for Brown gets us those titles.   add him to the J's, we're contenders.  swapping him for Jaylen, we're in the discussion only because of Lebron's name at this stage.
LeBron running our offence would be unstoppable. A lineup of LeBron-Smart-Fournier-Tatum-Horford is up there with any in the league
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Exactly. TP

I love me some Jaylen Brown, but Lebron running an offense with Tatum as the #1 scoring option and those other guys playing alongside would be amazing.

Absolutely, I'd trade Brown for LeBron in a heartbeat if the latter's ankle injury won't sap his athleticism in the long run. But LeBron would be our primary creator and scorer - he's still scoring at comparable volume to Tatum at significantly better efficiency at the age of 36.

I want to see more Celtic titles too, but the decisions our FO are currently making seem to prioritise vibes over winning trophies. :'(

disagree. Horford is far more likely to lead to a championship than walker, just based on the contract structure

With Mo on this one regarding the Kemba trade. And given that's all the new management has done beside hire a coach, which I also think was more about winning than good vibes, I gotta think, thus far, the management is making decisions on winning, specifically, a title.

Don't confuse productive with unstoppable.   LeBron has been stopped a lot in his career as his final records show.

Father time is beginning to show on him as well.

Why is Beal being ranked so far below Lillard?

I agree that Lillard is better but I do not believe it is much of a difference. Beal is being under-rated. He is a fantastic scorer at 31ppg at 59% TS%. He provides high caliber secondary playmaking from your SG position allowing you to get an extra ball-handler and passer at PG on the floor alongside him improving team passing. Not much of a defender but then again neither is Lillard.

Why such a large difference in the evaluation gap between the two?

For me, Lillard has consistently proven the ability to be the #1 guy on a playoff team capable of winning playoff series.  He is a legit PG and a borderline top 10 player.  Beal is a secondary player who has never shown the ability to really carry a team.  he isn't as efficient, he isn't as good a passer, and he is worse defensively than Lillard.  He also isn't a better all around player than Brown, while Lillard pretty clearly is.

I'd absolutely trade Brown for Towns or Lillard, and would consider Simmons (given his defensive versatility and how well I think he'd actually fit at the 4 next to Tatum).  Wouldn't even consider trading him for Beal.
