Sabonis is 24 and an all star big.  Fits their timeline, productive, I can't imagine them trading him.  Even Turner who is also 24, can't see it.  Brogdon is 28, UFA after two seasons, I could see them considering trading him but for a younger player(s), not older player(s).

Indiana has a nice core of 24-27 year old players.  Last season they were without LeVert (age 26) and TJ Warren (age 27), two pretty good scoring wings, for most of the season.  If they get those guys back with Brogdon at PG, Sabonis and Turner as bigs, they certainly don't need Kemba Walker.  They traded Oladipo to get younger as another example.

If I was Indy, I would sit tight and see how it looks with Warren and Levert healthy.  I can't see them having any interest in Kemba.

I think the best chance to move Kemba may be Chicago (Young, Satoransky, Aminu) or Clippers (Beverly, Morris,  Kennard).

And even those deals I'd suspect would need the Cs to add a little sweetener.

And I'm not suggesting we keep those guys in return necessarily. For instance keeping with the thread for Sabonis, say Morris/Beverly or Young/Kennard along with 4 or 5 of our assets (out of PP, RW3, Nesmith and Langford + 2 FRP) and Indy wouldn't immediately hang up on Brad.

I agree, both of those teams could make some sense.  Chicago wants to be a playoff team and they need an experienced and competent point guard.

The Clippers may be reeling if they lose the Mavs, and a missing aspect of their offense is a quick guard who can create his own shot.

You could maybe flip Kemba for Turner + Lamb, but definitely not Sabonis
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

I think Brad might have a much easier time closing a Kemba for Brogdon deal(with other moving parts in the trade) than he would trying to make a Sabonis for Kemba centric trade. Guessing here, but even that trade might need to happen at the deadline after the Pacers falter early in the season, precipitating a blow up in Indiana.

Actually don't see either trade as likely to happen but if Kemba the PG is going out to Indiana, I want their PG back, not Sabonis.

Brogdon would be an awesome find. Perfect #3 guy. Keeps the ball moving, efficient scorer, but not a great defender.

I'm not dumping Jaylen Brown just to get rid of Kemba.

Find a different deal.  I'm sure there are teams close to the cap floor that wouldn't mind picking up a solid leader like Kemba in exchange for a 1st round pick and maybe one or two of our young guys, Langford, etc.

There is absolutely no point in trading Walker unless it a) gets the Celtics under the luxury tax thus allowing them to keep other players like Smart, Fournier, and Timelord; or b) nets them a legit third star. Otherwise you just roll him out there for one more season, hope for the best for his knee, and in a year he’s an expiring contract.
