Can’t control everything but I just wanted simply Rozier starting instead of Kyrie. We proved over snd over we were a better team snd played as a team but Ainge snd Brad cowered to Kyrie. Ainge poking fun at Jaylen’s comments in press about how good they are. That was a pathetiv loser move to share with the media when at same time you’re letting this jerk take down his teammates in front of a microphone as well. Who are we???
Arrogant. Not good and still arrogant and I’d say ungrateful to the commitment of guys who put in work and did NOT attempt to embarrass someone on our team in front of a mic. I’ve lost a lot of respect for  how we operate .
Kyrie just walk on by our coach to congrats other team. Just crapping on the logo. “I should have taken more shots. “- no response. No guts. No togetherness. Lost your opportunity. Dishonorable behavior. Not what I want from Celtics leaders.

This critique that Celts don’t move without the ball enough. That’s Brad. Sorry.

GH injury killed BOS. It should be #1.

I agree!  They could have survived KI, but the injuries to GH have really hurt this team.

I still think the Celtics would have taken a swing at Davis if Irving was resigned.    They needed a top player who could convince Davis to stay.   With no Irving, (and likely Tatum or Brown out in the the trade), who would that player have been for the Celtics?

In retrospect, when more talent walks out the door each summer than comes back in the door, it's going to catch up with you eventually.

I don't think there's a single neat narrative to explain all of the things that have gone wrong.

There's Kyrie being weird, Hayward's ankle, the unexpected rise of the Jays, Hayward getting hurt again in the bubble playoffs, bad luck with coin flips on late lottery picks, and so on.

Again in hindsight, Ainge has not done an adequate job of anticipating departures and getting value in return to impending free agents before they jump ship.  But you can see the argument for not doing that in each situation.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.
