I love Markkanen. He could be one of the very best offensive players in the league if he played the center position instead of as a forward. He would be a matchup nigthmare at center with his speed and shooting ability. He would enhance and enable everyone around him to be more effective because of how he would imbalance opposing team's defenses with his scoring & shooting as a center.

I see him as a modern day Bob McAdoo as a small ball center.

Perhaps but the reverse could also be true. If the Lakers played Davis at centre, LM wouldn’t be able to stay in front of him nor have the foot speed to stop and disrupt AD’s shot of he pulled up for a jumper, same goes for Jokic and LM doesn’t have the physicality to defend Embiid or Bam.

Markkanen is a fantastic prospect but it’s all relative to what he wants or is offered in restricted free agency.

5' 10" former point guard

Career highlight: 1973-74 championship, Boston Celtics

Career lowlight: traded for a washing machine

As long as he doesn't cost us one of our core 4 I would be open to trading for him.

Core 4? Can such a middle of the pack team claim to have a "core 4".

Core 2? Sure.
