Semi has the same issue and Grant Williams and Rob Williams from earning consistent time.

Consistent play.

All three have show what level they are capable of playing.   All three of them have way to many games or times they are playing way below that level.
Consistency being an actual NBA skill, I'm guessing that Semi has pretty much peaked.  He's definitely better than he's been in the past but his lack of an impact on the recent road trip - when their bench really let them down - was not surprising.  The team could really use a better version of him.

Semi's role is to endlessly confound people as to whether he's any good or not
There are a lot of guys like that in the NBA, they usually end up playing for several teams because there's always a coach or GM who thinks 'just maybe' he puts it all together if we coach him right.

Semi has become his reach I guess an appreciable Sub who can give some minutes, become hot at 3 sometimes and give intense defense, not being timid to take the best opposite wings, even superstars... He is a usefull guy. I hope whe continue to play him some times and he still shows inconstancy... So we can keep him ship. He could also be the contract guy who overplay and be overpayed if he overachieve to much.
add in that he makes around $1.75 million this year and he looks even better.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Another solid game from Semi. 9pts, 5Reb, 3ast, 2stl, 3-5 from the field, 2-4 from 3pt. Good defense... One of the few bright spots from the game tonight.  Really a shame he hurt his knee... Hopefully it’s just a bruise/mild sprain. C’s just can’t catch a break.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I'm fine with Ojeleye being the '4' starter for now. As rightfully pointed out, the coach needs to commit and we need to know what Ojeleye really is before we overpay him or letting a valuable player walk unnecessary. The combo Thompson/Theis hasn't had much success and Grant Williams has mostly been bad and can't guard anyone.

Another “non update” from Brad regarding Semi’s status.

“No. I don’t have any update. I heard he was walking, or moving around but he wasn’t able to go back in that game. So, that was a loss the way that he’s playing, obviously, right now,” Stevens told reporters postgame.

“So, we’re hopeful that that’s not anything major — that it becomes a day-to-day type thing,” Stevens continued. “We obviously, you know, losing wings is tough, right? Because you lose a lot of versatility and a lot of ability to guard one through four. And Semi really has got better at that, and obviously has had a couple good scoring games here. So, I’m hopeful that’s nothing so he can continue to ride this wave.”

Ojeleye finished with nine points in 23 minutes while hitting three of his five shots from the field. He contributed five rebounds, three assists and two blocks, as well.

Ugh. Finally when I thought that Semi’s recent surge would relegate Grant Williams to the end of the bench, he gets injured. Just awful. Semi was killing it.
