This guy is just begging to be traded lol. You honestly have to applaud his efforts.

The night before the Rockets next game he'll probably be in another party

I understand his frustration. He informed the Rockets weeks ago that he wanted to be traded.
With two years on his contract that should give the Rockets a good haul instead of leaving them for nothing in free agency eventually. And in fact the Rockets should be grateful what Harden has given them over the years.
But they're unable to make a deal. That's just incompetence. Now Harden is stuck in Houston for now while the season is already starting.

Incompetence would be rushing to make a deal that doesn't benefit them in anyway just to appease him. If teams aren't making viable offers, they shouldn't settle. The Houston Rockets don't owe James anything outside of the money they're contractually obligated to pay him until he's on another team.

You could argue that James is holding up his own trade. Him partying to start the season then showing up to training camp late and out of shape doesn't exactly paint him as a guy with clear priorities. If you want a team to gut their future for you, at least give the appearance of caring.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

He willingly signed his contract, right?

Best thing for James to do now is just apologize if he was wrong (and apparently he was), put his head down and just play the season out as if he's going to be there long-term.

I'm sure he WON'T be there in HOU long-term. He (and I'm sure his agent, too) have already expressed their desire to be traded.

I'm certain that after a 10 game winning streak, a player of the month, several triple-doubles, a 60 point triple double, etc, etc - his trade stock will shoot RIGHT UP once more.

Won't take long for James Harden - one of the most prolific scorers of our lifetime.

And that he's under contract is helping the Rockets to get something back for him, substantial I'd expect.
Harden could and would have gotten that max contract anywhere, so it's not like he has to be grateful the Rockets gave him that.

Everyone knows Harden's time in Houston is over. The Rockets even fired his coach and traded his teammates (Westbrook and Covington). There's no mystery. Just make the best deal possible and get this thing over. It's taking too long.

Apparently westbrook wanted to be traded BECAUSE of Harden. Harden wasn't going to film meetings and was showing up late to practice.

Supposedly Chris Paul had the same issues with him. Guy is just loser mentality.

He has a legal obligation to the Rockets, and has no right to demand a trade.  The Rockets owe him nothing more than a paycheck.

Was Harden being made unavailable, not suspended just unavailable, the reason Houston couldn't field 8 players?

And regarding his $50,000 fine. Isn't about time the owners get a change in the CBA and demand fines be a percentage of earnings rather than set amount fines? NBPA probably wouldn't allow it but it sure seems unfair? Regardless of whether you are making rookie minimum or $40+ million, the fine is still $10, $25 or $50 thousand. That ain't right. And in a lot of cases, not a deterrent.

Forget about Harden, get Harrison Barnes with the TPE perfect to replace Hayward but with better defense and will to go to the basket, I watch him play today and he was awesome

A guy like Barnes would be great for us. Could come off the bench or start depending on matchups, has championship experience and is an elite #4 alongside superior offensive players

must be nice not to show up or do your job correct  still get paid .  And be a royal pain while doing it.  Seems teams are letting employees get away with too much.
