We’ve been a young center away from having a young championship core for years now. I can remember thinking “we need a center!” And hearing that Memphis was shopping their pick only to see Danny sit on his war chest and have Memphis pick up JJJ. Since then we have missed out on opportunity after opportunity to land someone young and good in that spot. We continue to p--- away first round picks on guys that have little or no potential. And we still have Bob “Sleepy” Williams as our only big that aligns to the timeline of our core of Tatum, Brown, and Smart (no offense, Tacko)

I’m not calling Danny a bad GM. He’s great. He’s proven it. I wouldn’t want him to get fired. I’m glad he didn’t bring back Kyrie. I’m glad he didn’t overpay for Horford or Hayward.  He’s gotten us SO close. But is his insistence on “winning the trade” preventing us from getting over the hump?

To be a good gm you must have extreme patience and discipline. That's  how we got Tatum and brown

You punt a year if you have to if it isnt the trade you want

We have no urgency. Look how young our core is.

no.  its a c's blog invention that evolved out of not taking on a lot of crap from other teams.

No.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Danny has done well compared to most. Only one team can win the playoffs
But a good team makes the NBA final four. We are right there.

I listened to 98.5 when the news came out about Hayward and this is their talking point. That danny played hardball with Indiana and Hayward said "screw you" and went to charlotte.

Makes for good radio, but we also dont know if Indys offer came close to Charlotte's. This could be a case that 30million a year guaranteed for 4 years was too hard to pass up

No other team, possibly the Knicks, we’re giving Hayward that contract.

Sometimes, you just got to overpay for a player(s) to get to the promised land.

Waiting and waiting and waiting and players decide they don't wanna play for the Celtics anymore doesn't do this team justice. Other teams out there are getting stronger and thicker.
