There are many reasons for the 10-1 start. Excellent team chemistry, Kemba being a seamless fit, steps forward for Tatum/Brown, Hayward looking like the Hayward
 of old (pre-injury), etc.

One that I haven’t seen talked about frequently, and I think is flying under the radar is Smart’s improvement as a shooter.

Through the first 11 games, Smart is shooting the 3 at a 41.8% clip. He’s 4th in the league in 3 pt %.

He’s improved every year, but this is a big step forward. His stroke looks good, and he’s becoming a big time threat.

Smart becoming a consistent 3 pt shooter, in my view, changes the ceiling of the team dramatically. Smart is a borderline all star if he keeps this up, and a high level role player at worst. Teams have to respect him, which opens up lanes for our main scorers.

Between his defense, playmaking, and shooting, once again DA has proven to be ahead of the game with contracts. 12m? What a steal!

every year his 3 point percentage has gone up. he shot 36% last year which is respectable. hopefully he keeps it up.

Maybe he'll end up being some sort of Chauncey Billups lite.
