Makes sense to me. The best version of the Warriors this year (and really the best version of any team, pretty much) requires their best players to be able to form a cohesive lineup. Certainly they’re planning on trying to make that work. And as they have all three plus Draymond Green Locke’s up for the next several seasons, their plan A in the long-term should be to make it work as well. Now, if it doesn’t, they can try something different next offseason, as Russell will have a contract that can bring back another max player in return, but for sure they’re goi g to try to make the best with what they’ve got this year.
