Assuming we are moving on from Rozier (after his comments about kyrie/Hayward, sacrifice, etc its probably likely), who do we see as a likely replacement  for backup pg? I want someone with a higher basketball iq than rozier

Wannamaker is probably just a 3rd stringer but maybe he dos get moved up.

IT is an interesting thought but defensively  its tough to see but would make a nice redemption story. Good GMs don't/Can't make emotional decisions though.

Rondo burned the bridge and has aged. Doesn't play defense. Can't shoot still.

Players I like:

-Jeremy lin. Cheap, solid all around backup. basketball iq higher than rozier

Shane larkin- knows system. Had good year in China (I know its China but still)

-JJ barea: similar to shane Larkin. A little older but good veteran for locker room with championship experience

-Derrick rose: had a ok year didn't he

Other options:
-delon wright
-jose Calderon

Absolutely no to Lin. He’s done playing meaningful minutes.
Wannamaker and larkin can be situational plug in point guards so 3rd stringers on a minimum contract.
Rondo can be a backup but only for the vet min. He may have good Stretches in the playoffs but other than that he won’t affect the W/L column.
How about we trade 22 pick for DJ Augustine ?

More concerned at who is the starting PG at this point.

that's an interesting trade idea

Would be nice to trade one of our picks for a ok rotational vet point guard

Gotcha. If Kyrie stays...no idea...maybe someone they draft.
