This Bronny saga is a joke. It's all led by Lebron and ESPN (of course) but seriously, I feel ESPN is covering Bronny James more than the actual top picks in this year's Draft. Also apparently he's turning down workouts with teams. He's really *that* guy?? Sorry but it's this kind of stuff that makes me hope he fails in the NBA, it's all nepotism at its finest.
I expect him to go #55 to the Lakers. I think all the talk about the Suns and other teams being interested is just more of the national media hyping him up. During the actual draft no one will take him higher than 55 and Lakers will take him just to make Lebron happy.
Be honest, if Lebron decided to leave LAL right now, announced it and everyone knew he was an open Free Agent, do the Lakers still consider Bronny James as a draft pick?
Rich Paul is trying to create a market for him: https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/40387379/agent-says-limited-nba-draft-workouts-bronny-james-design
that is how Rich Paul operates with 2nd round or late 1st round talent. He has for years and has had great success doing that getting his clients guaranteed deals, playing time, and other things atypical for late 2nd round picks. He is a really good agent, probably the best in the sport.
Rich Paul actually is losing some luster if you follow him. I believe His only clients under 30 to make the all star game last year was maxey. He lost Trae young and has a lot of older guys like draymond, Lebron and Davis. He had guys like wall, lonzo ball, Eric Bledsoe, jr smith and Tristan Thompson. I?m not sure how long powerful he stays when Lebron does retire. He represents d fox and garland who could still be all stars again, but pretty lean client list when Lebron retires (unless he signs some new stars)
Other than Jeff Schwartz it is pretty hard to make a case for anyone other than Rich Paul.
