Why would anyone want Philly to win the Lottery after that disgusting 'process' where they gave away any talent so they could repeatedly take shots at winning it and landing the next big deal.  screw them forever.

out of that bunch, I'd probably prefer Utah as the franchise that hasn't had the first pick ever.  Also, Ainge will do right by Flagg who seems like a really decent person.  Second option would be Sac for never getting the first pick.  not as good of an organization but adding Flagg to that group would really vault them into a serious player in the West.

I'm rooting hard for Utah, but I've always pictured him in a Charlotte jersey for whatever reason.

I like to see Washington win a lottery when there is actually top talent for them to grab.

Pretty much out of sympathy for Philly fans for the last 10-15 years. Plus, I think the Sixers are one of those teams where it's more fun for the league if they're competitive. Also, Maxey, McCain, Flagg would be a fun young trio moving forward.

I know a lot of Boston sports fans despise Philly, but they've never been a real threat during my lifetime, so I dont have the same level of animosity towards them as older generations. I save most my sports hatred for LAL-MIA-GSW-CLE.

I remember the battles with Philly in the early 80's vividly but for me the contempt for the franchise is mostly about the "process" of shamelessly tanking to get high picks.  it was an embarrassment for the league.  let them continue to suffer

Philly fans are by and large absolute scumbags who deserve zero sympathy whatsoever.

I don't want them to get a "get out of jail" card after those contracts blow up in their faces.

Flagg in Washington would be interesting. A Flagg/Coulibaly/Sarr frontcourt could be absolutely incredible defensively if Sarr can develop. They have a few other interesting prospects like Carington/Johnson as well. They have a few veterans they might be able to flip liker Smart/Middleton who will be expiring and Poole who has 2 years left. No bad contracts on the books going forward and have a few extra firsts to work with.

They would still need one other high player with lead offensive upside, but they'd be fairly well set up.

That would be a fun group for Flagg. I'd like to see that but ... I don't want to see him next to Embiid & PG13. I'd only want to see it if they blew up the roster and went young around Flagg. That would be a fun up and coming team to watch. They won't do that though. So no to Philly for me. I hope they have no luck in the lotto.

I agree, but I think most of them are gone now, and I think it would be a great coda to Hinkie's legacy of consistent failure if Philly drafted Flagg and immediately became competitive in a year they weren't actively avoiding fielding a competitive roster.

The obnoxious fans were part of that process, so no sympathy for that city.
