This is what I am referring to when I say that Irving's style has a negative effect on team's overall play. His desire to be "the head of the snake" leads to everyone standing around while he goes one-on-one, then other players, because the offense has become so stagnant are left to go one-on-one because that is the mode of offense they are in. Players quit moving, the ball quits moving, etc. But many on here see Irving make a few dazzling shots and think he is great, which he would be in a one-on-one contest. Right now, Celts are way out of any offensive rhythm.
