Many people on this board: "It'S oKaY tHaT sMaRt Is OuT fOr ThE fIrSt RoUnD dUe To A dUmB dEcIsIoN tO pLaY hIm In A mEaNiNgLeSs GaMe! We'Ll HaNdLe InDy WiThOuT hIm!" We should still win this series, but people thinking this would be a cakewalk without Smart are crazy.

We clearly are struggling without that secondary playmaker out there in Smart. It might be time to start Hayward over Tatum, as he can provide you with Tatum's scoring while also providing the passing and playmaking to allow Kyrie to play off the ball, which neither Brown nor Tatum can provide you. And I prefer Brown at the 2 rather than going big with one of Tatum or Hayward there, as I don't think they are quick enough to guard as 2's.

Guys playing hard, like a chicken with their heads cut off.

I think it will settle down. Offensively they are making the right passes. Just missed some shots.
There is something missing, even with the ball movememt.

I really dont think so. They've allowed 38 points with 4 minutes left in the quarter. In todays NBA thats pretty good. Mostly its just the turnovers. Horford had a bad pass. Brown a push off. Tatum lost the ball on the dribble twice. Kyrie couldn't inbound it. Hayward threw one away. Its led to 11 of the Pacers point. If they tighten that up this game will swing fast.

Brown is putting up a Lowry so far and negative 13 to boot.
yeah hope they trade Brown to Pelicans instead of Tatum
The further this goes, the least likely they’ll take either one for Davis.  But yeah, they take the best prospect, not the guy we don’t want.

Honestly, we could easily be down 17 right now. Glad it's 7. Got to try and tie this by halftime and then regroup.

Just absolutely no consistency in NBA officiating. Infuriating

SMART is impossible to replace that is why you do not play him in a meaningless game.

Take a good look.

Indiana is simply outplaying the Celtics.

Yup.

Things we are doing poorly right now:
Rebounding
Too many turnovers
Shooting
Perimeter defense

Need to turn up the effort on def and get some easy transition points

There comes a time when "great young prospect" turns to "solid rotational player" Brown is nearing this.

that is because he played alot of minutes with terry.

Terry is a black hole, just destroys everyone on the court with him

Morris has been the best source of offense tonight, but I don't trust him at all
