Anything to get him out of Boston is fine by me. And having extra reason to boo him on LAL? That’s a bonus. Plus he’d be out West.

Then Irving would be a hypocrite and tarnish his image that he painstakingly built this whole season. He initially wanted OUT of Cleveland because of LeBron, so he came to Boston. Now he wants to rejoin with his buddy LeBron.

I would be furious too, but I don't think he goes to Lakers. He either stays a Celtic, or go to Knicks.

Kyrie has many options and after watching some ESPN and other analyst discuss Kyrie’s options I’ve heard 2 people say the Celtics should sign and trade him.

Now of course I’m thinking why the hell would Kyrie agree sign and trade to go anywhere if he can just go there for free? Well after brain storming  (correct me if I’m wrong) it would be to clear more cap space for wherever he is headed to and to sign him for less than max.

With that thought process things really do open up on what the Celtics can get for Kyrie. In my opinion Kyrie has kind of 3 choices. Knicks, Nets, or Lakers. My theory is that the Clippers aren’t being considered because Kyrie would be by himself. I think whatever team Kyrie goes to he’s going to gut them so he can play “pick up basketball” and choose his own teammates. He will either be his own man and choose his own teammates on a gutted Knicks or Nets team or he and Lebron will gut the Lakers and they will choose their 3rd star together.

I know some people are wondering why would the nets gut their team they made it to the playoffs and they got developing young guys. Well if Kyrie just signs with the nets he will be in the same boat he is already in. I don’t believe him and Russell fit together and I know the nets fans aren’t trying to watch DLO and Kyrie on the same team. Plus how serious of a contender are the Nets? Even if they just added Kyrie they wouldn’t get anywhere, so breaking it down and starting over in FA with Kyrie at the helm seems like the proper choice.

Now I personally believe Kyrie’s choice will be....the New York Knickerbockers. The Knicks check ever box for Kyrie and it makes it nearly impossible for me to see him not choose them. They were the worse team in the league which means they have the worse roster. What the Knicks did during the trade deadline is similar (to me) of what the Lakers did for Lebron. I think they know that Kyrie is coming with a “few” friends.

The Knicks will trade [dang] near everyone on their roster via trade with the Celtics in order to get Kyrie about 10m less than the max, and to rid themselves the rest of the contracts on the team. Kyrie would then be able to hand pick his own team in free agency while keeping their #1 pick (Zion)

And because Kyrie will be the first star on this team, this is HIS team. It’s HIS hometown, it’s HIS roster, HIS fans. Kyrie will be a New York Knick

They would would then have only Kyrie and LeBron and they can choose whatever max free agent that they desire. This option would only happen if they had already pre-determined who they want and already got their commitment and they are choosing who ever the 3rd star is over Davis. So I’d guess KD or Boogie or they would get Butler at a bit less than max and get another good Vet along side them.

The Lakers one seems less likely but you never know 🤷🏽‍♂️
