Not a good game for Kyrie.

But Tommy just said that, "Kyrie is doing it all tonight." He must not remember all of the missed shot attempts. Hopefully he can be the King of the 4th.

Wait wait wait - did they just spend five minutes looking at the film to realize, "Oh crap, that was nothing. Perhaps I should stop being so sensitive and throwing out T's."  ::)

Had a feeling about this game - it is a real indicator of where we are after the "Great Plane Ride" and the first three games in Cali. I thought the Clippers game was a bad sign, not because of the loss, but the margin. We were not competitive.

So far tonite looks like a return to form - play well a few games (We have turned the corner) - then back to struggling. Time to admit this team does not work, something fundamental is not right .......... players, coach, system, who knows ? Just hope Danny doesn't ruin this beautiful rebuild by going forward with blinders on. This season has been painful and it will all makes sense eventually, just wait.
Yeah, sorry, but down in the game with 4 minutes still to play in the first half, I am not giving up on them for this game, nevermind this whole year.

You are missing the point - this is the second game in a row Celts have come out flat and playing badly .............................. after yet another reported "turning point". It's a constant pattern this season. Whether we win a single game or not is secondary to the focus and energy we do or do not come out with on a consistent basis. Pulling out a game we should win easily does not bode well for the playoffs.
How much attention have you paid to the Kings this year? They're not an easy out

Agree, they are good. But we just beat them at their place and you cannot tell me we are playing well. We look awful, regardless of score or opponent.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

I didn't think JB would make that off balance 3.  Glad I was wrong.

It looked so bad, but I'm not complaining

Per usual, about three to four possessions too late on the timeout, Brad.  ::)

Yeah, not only should there have been a TO to cool off Hield and get the D to re-group, but they need to have a better offense than Smart missing 3s and lay-ups. Hield just went Curry on us - that was one of the fastest turnarounds I have ever seen.

Edit: and for some reason, Smart gets a 3 out of the timeout...and makes it! What do I know?
I am saying this jokingly but also a bit on point but if Stevens called timeouts as often as you guys wanted him too, he would never have any in the last two minutes when you really need them. 👍😉😄

I am not really one usually calling for TOs, but it seemed in this case that he should have called one after the 2nd straight 3 and the Kings went from 1 down to 5 up in a matter of 30 seconds.

Luckily, we have now hit a couple of 3s - Yay!  ;D

2 unselfish plays from Hayward lead to 2 3s from Kyrie and JB. He could have taken either but went with the shooters in better position
