What I love is lots of the fans aren't really buying it. They're calling him out for his hilarious hypocrisy

LeBron (and The Czar Mike Fratello and Analyst Steve Smith from NBATV) are correct, here.

The WAY this was carried out is the EXACT reason why many NBA players are lashing out.

I can ALSO see why some HERE on the Blog (myself included) and others COULD criticize LEBRON for speaking about this - in that he is letting his agent Rich Paul run roughshod with these rumors / tampering / allegations - all in the name of appearing to align his client with a top tier talent.

If LeBron has the power (and I know he has) he needs to have his agent go or his TEAM go about this a different way. But that is already too late.

I personally hope my Boston Celtics take The Lakers out back to the shed tonight. Just go to that little tree and grab a switch. Get a good THICK one or the whipping will be WORSE.

Then USE that switch to give the Lakers a good ol' fashion thrashing.

Amen

LeBron lacks moral authority in this matter.   He and his agent are trying to orchestrate a trade and you can bet his hypocritical self would not care if Davis was traded during a game.

Players sign contracts. Those contracts allow teams to trade them. They also require players to exclusively commit their services to a team for an established length of time in return for many millions of dollars.

Lebron’s argument is fine if he’s talking about players leaving in free agency. Forcing trades is something else entirely; it’s a breach of contract.
