I understand some people wanting to deal for AD in the off season but is there a bigger benefit to trying to clear cap to possibly sign him in 2020 off season? What contracts would be the likely ones need to move to have space for AD signing?

Right now, he's saying he doesn't want to come here so there's no guarantee we'd even get a free agent meeting in 2020. By trading for him, we'd get a year to show him how we run things.
