On behalf of the Celtic nation and the team we thank you Brown and Hayward for the hard work, commitment to succeeding and growth with the team. We know your roles with the team have not  been what either have hoped for this year but we believe with the Pistons you will have a better chance of getting back to past form. We wish you well.

We welcome Griffin and Robinson to the C's. We feel Griffin is a dynamic player that is a top ten talent who can help shoulder the leadership role and make everyone on the team better. With Robinson we hope he can quickly adapt to the system and join the team's rotation.
Trade deadline mock team: Celtics,
Irving, Rozier, Wanna
Smart, Robinson, Dozier
Tatum, Morris, Semi
Griffin, Theis, Yab
Horford, Baynes, Williams

The Detroit Pistons organization thanks Blake Griffin and Glenn Robinson III for their contributions to the organization.  We wish them well with the Celtics and in their future endeavors.

We welcome Gordon Hayward and Jaylen Brown to the Pistons organization.  When fully recovered from his terrible injury, we expect Gordon to return to his all-star level of performance.  In his 3rd season, Jaylen is a talented young player who will be able to maximize his potential with the Pistons.  The Kings 2019 1st round pick is a likely lottery pick to go with our own 1st round pick.

Great deal for Detroit. Basically traded Bradley, Harris, and a late lottery pick for brown, Hayward, and a better lottery pick.
Thanks.  Think the deal makes them a bit worse this season to improve their pick, hopefully better next season if Hayward returns to form and Brown takes off with more opportunity and better for the future with Brown and the Kings pick.  Also didn't mind getting off the last season of Blake's contract.  Four straight healthy seasons for Blake is a bit much to ask for.

I think it is a good deal for the Celtics too.  Get a 2nd star to improve playoff chances this season.  In the AD hunt, it gives another option for NOP.  Given their market, they might prefer an established star under contract for a few years and pick(s) to young talent and picks.

Spurs are still trying to get Patty Mills to a contender that could use scoring off the bench. Mills is currently shooting nearly 40% from 3. Spurs are looking for an expiring

Charlotte wanted to send Parker home and give Williams a chance to compete for a championship. We did this to free our cap space and get a young prospect. We also welcome Darren Collison to Charlotte, excited to have him mentor DSJ and hope to resign him in the off-season.

The Nets would like to thank Joe Harris for his commitment to getting better every day. He has truly become one of the premier shooters in the NBA. We have rebuffed several attempts at trades by the Spurs, but their last offer of two 1sts and Poetl made us realize that Harris might enjoy the new opportunity in San Antonio.

Spurs plan to have a press conference to cover the trades later in the day. But are still taking offers for Rudy Gay who is having a fantastic shooting year and is an expiring contract. Spurs are looking for young players/prospects in return for Gay
