we have not taken this team seriously at all

It's not that we aren't taking them seriously.  We just have no size and are getting destroyed on the glass.  Phoenix has 17 offensive rebounds.  Losing Horford, Baynes, and Morris has had an immense effect on that area of the game.
 Williams is a rookie, Theis is a PF, and... that's who we have. 

Our offense is doing alright, our defense is defending the first shot well, but we can't end possessions.  Our perimeter players need to do a much better job attacking the glass, but there's only so much that guards can do to keep Ayton off the boards.

We’re all criticizing the offense but it’s our defense that has been main reason we are in this position. Not getting back quick in transition and making it far too easy for Phoenix to get to the rim

Yeahhhh, I'm not a fan of this no offense Rozier, Brown, Hayward, Semi, and Williams lineup... especially given Hayward still recovering and Brown sucking thus far this year.
