That slide by Turner looks dirty. His leg was straight sideways

That's twice tonight the Dodgers came into second with a questionably dirty slide

I thought it was a good hard (legal) slide. He stayed in the basepath, didn't spike Bogie. Bogie's positioning was terrible.

Being legal doesn't mean it isn't dirty. It's not illegal to try and hit someone on the head with a fastball, either, but it's still dirty

Well, if you're TRYING to hit someone in the head, that is illegal (though there might be no way to prove it). I really don't think Turner was trying to hurt Bogie, and I don't think that trying to take out a fielder's legs is dirty. That's the risk the fielder takes, and Bogie's positioning was terrible—the leg that got hit was planted at least a foot toward the first-base side of the bag, which is right where a runner is going to slide.

His "leading" leg was perpendicular to the basepath, pointed nowhere near the bag (but perfect for sweeping Bogaerts' leg). Bogaerts was in a terrible spot, but that was not a normal slide from Turner
