Was a Mook apologist all season but wouldn’t be too upset if he got moved.

He was “the LeBron stopper” but we got torched by him time and time again. I know he did a good enough job when he covered him, but I think he could have done a better job on the picks instead of switching with Rozier every [dang] time.

And as one of the few vets on the team, 5-14 in Game 7 was rough for me. I don’t care about 5-14 on a Tuesday night game in December against the Mavs, but when we need the vets to step up most, he couldn’t score.

I think he will stay and be fine with his role.

He may want to be traded, but given their front court depth and his bargain contract, there’s no way they trade him unless it’s part of a much bigger deal.

Same thing Crowder said last year, and that got him traded.

It’s not the same at all, lol.

Morris said that he loves playing for Boston this year but doesn’t know what his role is going forward.

Crowder got p---ed that Celtics fans were cheering for Hayward and said that he had no problem leaving Boston.

IMO, it’s nothing that a few conversations with Stevens and Ainge can’t solve.  We’ll see though.

Absolutely he said a similar thing after the season was over.  Crowder saw Brown coming on and new that the Cs were going after a Free Agent (possibly Hayward).  And he got traded.

Morris isnt going anywhere. Ainge traded for him because

A. He was cheaper than Avery Bradley
B. Had an extra year on his contract.

And Ainge needed the cap space to give Hayward the full max.  I could see Ainge trading him, but I hope he stays.  I like his attitude and fight.  It's good to have a goon on the team.

It would be interesting to see what Rozier and Morris plus picks could get you.

only way I see ainge move him is if it is for someone with similar production and a longer contract...or if he becomes a problem.

BUT, if you read the whole quote in the article he mentions how boston is his favorite place to play so it may not be as "oh no morris is starting to cause trouble" as the headline suggests.

Everyone who stays role is going to have to change next year. Smart/Rozier/Morris clearly arent going to get as many minutes as they did this year.
