Lebron's Photographic Memory: Impressive

A reporter asked him what happened in the beginning of the 4th quarter after they had cut the lead down from 28 to 14 points.

Lebron proceeded to recall, in great detail, the next 5-6 play sequences, down to who took the ball out, how much time was left when he did, etc.

I mean it was very impressive, and probably contributes to his greatness on the floor.

Someone please post the clip. I believe in response to the female Akron reporter's question, the next to last question.

Obviously Lebron has a great understanding of the game of basketball, but I posit that many CBers would have been able to do the same thing. With Cleveland finishing up the 3rd quarter in such a strong manner, those first couple of minutes with the Cs retaking control of the game were fairly significant. I would imagine somebody like Lebron - who is always so engaged - would absolutely remember the details of the portion of the game where the Celtics broke the Cavs' backs.

Yeah, obviously Lebron is an intelligent player, and I am not surprised he was able to recall all of that, but it was still impressive when he is sitting there in the press conference basically dictating it to the press.

I am not saying any Cs fan could have broken down any given two minute period in the game, just that this one was significant and a fairly easy set of sequences to recall since it was the very beginning of the 4th quarter and the stretch that ended any hopes of the Cavs coming back.

But, yeah, it was totally impressive for Lebron to do this when he didn't know that the question was coming. Lebron is a smart guy who is very focused - I am just not surprised is all.

He seemed to forget turning the ball over in that stretch, which he did once and the team twice.

My guess is we all knew what the OP meant -- that's probably all that matters. 

Yeah, it was impressive.  Reminds me of the recall that Tom Brady has (and Belichik) when reflecting on plays and series' -- down to where every player was and what every player did.
