There is one trade I successfully completed that would save the Celtics over 6 million by trading Hayward for Kawhi, and then I'd like to know what are the sign and trade rules, how much salary could we send the Lakers in a sign and trade?

Not very realistic but I think that team would be unreal.

Horford
Randle
Kawhi
Brown
Irving

With Tatum and Rozier coming off the Bench Lol. That team is insane if Kawhi is ready and even if he's not the team is still fine with Tatum replacing Kawhi.

Kawhi fits the timeline better at age 26 and is a better player than Hayward. Randle is only 23 years old.

We would have Horford and everyone else would be 26 years old or younger.

Kawhi and Irving the old men at 26. Rozier and Randle 23, Jaylen Brown and Tatum,  Theis and Yabu

Kawhi is better than Hayward and I'd rather have Randle, but there is no way I'd make that trade if I was the Celtics.  None at all.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah

I truly don’t think kawhi is better than Hayward, kawhi for example is not the greatest assist numbers. Kawhi also has a bad recent injury history. Unpopular opinion but I’m Not impressed. Prefer Hayward next to kyrie

I also believe a number of players were robbed of finals mvp that year that kawhi won. even Lebron had better stats

Other than it not being at all cool to trade the big free agent signing, I absolutely do this trade.  Kawhi is a top 5 player when healthy.  Hayward is maybe top 20.

Nah man, we do.

I couldn’t make this trade. Hayward gave us a boon by signing with us, and the season has I’m sure been very hard for him, in nuanced levels of pain. Trading him is a bridge too far.

But..so was trading IT, Avery, and Crowder. Literally would not have pulled the trigger on any of those.

Danny Ainge is a sociopath as a GM. As a father, son, brother, friend, I bet he’s just the tops. Couldn’t ask for a better guy. But as a GM? He is Hannibal Lecter.

And I bet Kawhi looks pretty tasty to a person like that.

IT, Avery, and Crowder all not free agent, we trade or draft them, HUGE difference

I'm confused you rather have Kawhi and Randle over the other 2 but you wouldn't make the deal?

You just checking to see if anyone is paying attention?  :P
ok fine
