Sad. Single car accident at around 2 am this morning. Allegedly going 2 or 3 times the speed limit when he lost control of the car

That isn't narrowing it down much. He could have been diving anywhere between 50 and 150 based on this.

I mean, I was ticketed for being 2 2/3 times over the speed limit once and I was just doing 40 or so.

If the speed limit was 25, he could've been going between 50-75 mph. If the speed limit was 50 he could've been going between 100-150 mph. I'm guessing these estimates are based on the damage and makeup of the accident which seems like a reasonable range to me.
