I couldnt get on tonight til now. Over ten years on this great site but my limit has been reached. In a world of amazing tech and most sotes working flawlessly, this is unacceptable. I am now looking for an alt site. Fix this , acknowledge the issue or lose loyal members.

any other good sites? let me know if you find one. this sites server issues are terrible now and almost broken and unusable anymore.

does anyone know of any other active celtic forum type sites?  this site just is not even usable at this point.  Incredibly frustrating, because so many very great bball minds on this site, but if you can't even open up the forums because of technical issues, I am looking for something else as well.

Sons of Sam Horn and Realgm are the only forums I've aware of.

Maybe we could do a members only Facebook game thread.

Even when the error messages don't pop up, the forums site simply doesn't load for me, period.

It's like the forum is so slow, even the "connection problems" message takes too long to load  :P

I wish it somehow got fixed soon... It was kind of brutal when all the trades were happening but I couldn't come here that often...  :(

As I said in the Cavs game thread, I'm inclined to believe Vox Media (the parent company of SB Nation) simply does not care and is unwilling to invest any resources in fixing the problem.

If you notice, there are no advertisements in the forums here, only on the front page of CelticsBlog.  My guess is that has a lot to do with it.  I wouldn't be surprised if Vox Media actually wants everyone to shift to the front page, and would rather just phase out the forums.

Got the dreaded error message again today a few times.

Got me a little frustrated/aggravated, one time in particular.

In the old days before celticsstrong, every time I would start a new topic, I would copy the text in case that [dang] message popped up and the post was “lost”, so I could re-submit it when the connection allowed me.

I assumed I didn’t have to do that anymore. Stupid me.

The 15 minutes it took me (I type VERY SLOWLY) to create what I thought was an interesting thread on Bill Russell’s chastising Barkley in a great tweet after our comeback last night was wasted.

Anybody else get that SMF message about the connection?
