My reaction to that 3 st the end

I'm afraid that Jaylen didn't see that 3 ... or much of anything the entire first half.

Can't help but feel like the refs have it in for Smart tonight. Wish he hadn't build himself a bad reputation with the flopping, now he never gets the benefit of the doubt.
its absolutely this

Legendary said it: Smart brought this on himself.

no, a foul is a foul.  refs need to call the fouls.

Welp, that was a fitting end to the first half: Smart doesn't get the foul call, then Ginobili hits a Hail Mary.

Cs started the game on fire, the Spurs ice cold, and it was to be expected that neither of those trends would keep up for the whole half, but the Cs did themselves few favors in the second quarter. Kyrie took ONE shot the entire second quarter, and pretty much everyone else decided on a career change (brick masons).

Stevens needs to put Baynes back in, and the Cs have to make the open shots.

Yeah, where exactly is Baynes? He starts and then doesn't come back in when he'd be useful against  Aldridge?

I hope I'm right on my next prediction.- Before the season is over Theis and Ojeleye will start hitting a creditable amount of threes. They have good form and appear to be hard workers. Hope time proves me correct.

****.  Sad but true.  Couldn't hit his shots.  Looked lost on D and that ridiculous push down that resulted in FT's.  He has to pick it up in the 2nd half.

Ojeleye yes but shooting 3's is outside Theis' range.  Have him do what he does best.  Cut to the basket and play near the rim.

Spurs usually come out for a knock out blow after Pop gives them WHAT FOR half time
speech
So im expecting celtics to go down by 14-17 points in the third ...

Have to keep it from being a blowout.......thats what Spurs always trying to do.

I think you disagree enough. ;D

I understand, though—there were some bad calls and noncalls that went against the Celtics in general, Smart in particular. But I have no doubt that Smart's flopping has cost him a lot of capital with the refs.

Is it just me, or have we not had all that many non-NBATV national tv games so far?
