They've got the formula to win big games. Young guys gotta keep developing their skills and confidence in their roles.

Our bench consistency has been superb lately-something that started when Smart has been distributing well.

Good win. On to Dallas. I'd bet they feel like they should've beat us last game. They'll probably be ready to go.

What's with Jaylen getting 23 minutes?

Can you imagine if you could somehow get

Kyrie Irving
Russel Westbrook
Giannis Antetekumpo(sp)
LeBron James
Joel Embiid

as a starting lineup? It's the CANT STOP ANY OF THEM lineup. Would never work though. They all need the ball.

I'm kicking Westbrook off that team. I'd rather Harden.

Kyrie's knack for those end of game buckets is just uncanny. They played up on him, he drove and scored. They gave him space, he backed up and shot the 3.

Just totally under control the whole time.

I see Celtics titles in Kyrie and Our teams future!!!

YEP

CHAMPIONSHIPS ARE COMING. we just might make finals this year

next year for sure

IF we had greek freak we would beat GS this year.  bench would/will be solid
LET'S GO CELTICS!

What's with Jaylen getting 23 minutes?

He picked up his 3rd foul less than 5 minutes into the game and didn't play again until the 2nd half.

And even though I am sure he was frustrated by the situation, I think he came out and played extremely well in the 2nd half. It's too bad the alley-oop from Kyrie was waived off.

1st half foul trouble. He picked up 3 fouls in the first 5 minutes

I agree... the team is better with Harden...
That said, the idea is to have each one of them be unstoppable on offense. You can defend Harden if he gets going. There's no stopping a runaway Russel Westbrook train when it's chugga-chugga-choo-chewing up your defense.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

Best play of the night was the one that didn't count, the Kyrie pass off the backboard to Jaylen Brown.

Pretty annoying that not only did they not let the basket count (it was a very weak foul), but Kyrie didn't get free throws when he was 'pushed' in the back (ahead of everybody on a fast break) while putting the ball up toward the basket.

No big deal, though - happy to get the W and move on to Dallas!

If this is "what it could have been," then that ship has set its sail.

If this is "is Giannis another potential unhappy superstar that could be traded for in a year or two?" then its something to keep our eye on.
