I’d love him on the C’s. Just don’t see how we could possibly do it.

We really have a roster full of high upside/low salary, bargain contracts, and all-star talent.

Trading any of them does’t make us better, especially for a 32-year-old.

He should be frustrated. He's supposed to be their best player and he was benched during a loss. If a guy doesn't feel frustrated by that, what is he even doing playing professional basketball?

He is a force the Warriors can't deal with very easily.

Gasol, BWright for Hayward, picks, and whatever(maybe Theis).  Would have to wait til Dec 14.

C's wouldn't do it to Gordon, but if Memphis is gonna tank, it would be a great opportunity!

Unless the NBA is disbanding after this season, no thanks.

I love Marc Gasol, but we can't trade Hayward.

I'm not really sure Horford and Gasol are a good fit so trading Horford for him, is probably the easiest way.  Trade is probably close to a wash on the court, but it does shave money off of next year which might make it easier to keep Smart.  Of course I have no idea why Memphis would make that trade.

Saltlover pointed out to me on a previous thread that even if we used the DPE soon, we will not be able to trade it before the trade deadline.

Isn't that package too much for a 32-year-old player? Obviously depends on how high you rate Rozier but still.

That’s if we sign somebody. There’s time if we trade for somebody.

You’d be trading a pretty good rotation player, a mediocre prospect, and filler.

Seems like you're missing Morris in that equation unless you are categorizing Morris as the 'pretty good rotation player', Rozier as the 'mediocre prospect' and Yabu+Nader as 'filler'. I would definitely give up Rozier (or Morris) + Yabu + Nader for Gasol, but I think it's a bit too much to give up both Rozier and Morris for a guy that is 32-years-old.

32 years old and still one of the best centers in basketball.  Lebron is 32 and an expiring contract and you are telling me you wouldn't give up that package for him?
