  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
We have good players on our roster, I am just not sure why we don't play them. From where did Brad anticipate our offense coming to start the 4th?

Celtics don't have a single guy off the bench who can shoot consistently. Even Gerald Green was more reliable than these guys.

Get em rested. As long as our 2nd unit isn't falling behind, I'm good with the starters coming back in with their wind and their legs. I just wish Morris was in instead of Rozier.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

Zach Lowe was even harping on Brad going to these types of all-bench lineups the other day, too.

Someone just explain this rationale to me. I simply don't get it, and it's so frustrating because every single time we go to it we lose ground because our offense is just putrid.

Honestly what is Brad thinking? There’s no offense out there

It's maddening, isn't it? I just see no justification for not better staggering some of our better scorers. Makes no sense whatsoever, and it leads to these terrible droughts with Smart and Rozier jacking up terrible shot after terrible shot.

He’s a great coach but sometimes I think he outsmarts himself with these lineups

Hawks announcers:. "Marcus Smart is the best flopper in the league.". I guess that's props right?

He's the worst flopper in the league. You can see him falling back before he gets hit and the Refs and everyone else knows he does it. He rarely gets that call any more.

Awful lineup for four minutes in the fourth

Horford's usually consistent but he's having a bad night with 5? fouls.

Jesus Brad, get Larkin out of there.  It's not his night.

Larkin dribbling the air out of the ball and jacking up a long two at the end of the shot clock. Great offense.
