I didn't watch the game, but it is strange that the Pistons only had 3 free throw attempts for the entire game.  Their first FT attempt came in the fourth quarter with only 6 minutes left in the game.  Can anyone comment on the officiating for the game?

On a side note, Avery Bradley was 4 for 17 from the field.

I didn't watch the game but if you look at the box score the Lakers had more fouls than the Pistons, 14-11.  It appears that the Lakers did a good job of not fouling shooters.

I watch about 3/4 .  The Pistons were brutally bad.  They used up all their emotion on the two great wins.  Pistons were tired looking , no energy .....and HORRIBLE team ball .  Bradley built a new brick condo in LA last night .  Clang Clang .  Drummond was extra bad on offense.   Worst was Jackson, who shot the ball everytime he touched it.  Pistons had ZeRO team chemistry or energy .  Jackson would be in CBS doghouse for 3 months playing like he did.

Lakers realized the Pistons were off and pounced on them .  All those scrub players were shooting like all stars .

It was one of those games one eam was totally lost and the other was shooting great at the same time.  Was a suck basketball game.

I didn't watch much of it, but Avery couldn't throw it in the ocean, and he just kept chucking it up there.

Really awful night for AB. At some point, if the shot ain't fallin', you got to just quit shooting.

That's Avery Bradley for you though -- if the jumper isn't falling, he's got nothing else offensively. Luckily for him, the jumper is falling often enough.

I watched into the 2nd quarter. Pistons were very careless with the ball. Lakers had a lot of energy snd good ball movement. Just am skeptical our pick will be realized this year.

The Lakers have the potential to be very good. They are just young.

The Lakers are just better than everyone anticipated.

They've got a bunch of high lottery picks and have drafted extremely well in the second round producing some serious steals and all the pieces fit together...

It's not rocket science, they're a young team with a lot of talent and a good coach.  They'll most likely be pretty respectable on their home court.

That's terrible! Shows a lack of will to take it to the basket and make something happen!

There are only 4 teams playing like total crap this early season and 1 other, Mia with 1 less win than LA, that doesn't sound better than expected IMO. There are 6 teams at 3-4 and BKN is at 3-5 with NYK at 3-3. All that says to me is that, IT'S TOO EARLY to tell either way (6-8 games in). If anything is unexpected it's probably how hard the bottom 4 is tanking. Is Dirk injured? Why have they only won once, I thought they didn't believe in tanking?!

2 of their wins were against Eastern teams and one was a 2pt victory over the Pels.

It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I called that Detroit would lose to LA after beating Golden State in the Lakers Season Watch thread, and sure enough, we've entered NBA bizarro world.

Like I've said numerous times elsewhere, I'm not getting my hopes up for a top 5 pick this year.  I want one so bad but it just doesn't look probable.

I'm even trying to convince myself that getting Sac '19 might even be better, despite what looks like a worse draft from #2 to #5, in case the NOP can't get their sh*t together and we are able to make a strong offer for AD that lets us keep Kyrie, Hayward & at least 1 of JB/JT.

C: Rudy Gobert (18-19, DPOY)
B: JKidd, Vince, KAT, Siakam, Bam, Rose (MVP), Danny Green

Unless you are the shooter and your coach says keep letting them rip because just like Stevens he plays the law of averages.
ok fine

Speaking about free throws, Andre Drummond is now shooting 70% on the year... *stare*
