What in the world is scapular muscle imbalance? I've heard of (and had) muscle imbalances with the hip adductors/abductors before (pretty painful), but I've never heard of it in the shoulder area.

Looks like the most arcane way to say, "My shoulder hurts"... in other news, I think it's just lingo for shoulder impingement.

This is an over-use injury from playing ONLY basketball as a teen...
